One of the things we spoke about today at the NH Progressive Summit was some potential “Future States” for Blue Hampshire.
Some ideas that came up:
- As an aggregator of progressive news. The RSS reader for folks that don’t want to use an a RSS reader.
- AN Aggregator of progressive events across the state (get calendar functionality running)
- As a simple way to share your voice without having to set up a blog of your own
- Help define and drive the progressive agenda is in our state
- Provide data and deeper info than is possible in the age of twitter
- As a clearing house for what is happening with progressive organizations across the state
- Focus on NH rather than national news
- Progressives need to keep their voices loud even when Dems have control, BH is a place to do that
What do you think?
- Does BH have a future in a 140 character world?
- With digital publishing tools becoming more and more accessible, is BH still needed?
- What would be lost if BH was not a part of the NH media landscape?
How could you help?
- Are you willing to be more active in writing for Blue Hampshire?
- Are you willing to help be the editorial voice of the site?
- Do you have technical skills that you could lend?
- Are you willing to fund BlueHampshire via donations or other sponsorship opportunities?
I hope we can have some discussion on this via the comment section… please share your thoughts and ideas.
